The victim, a 30-year-old man, was shot multiple times and airlifted to a Colorado Springs hospital for life-threatening injuries. The incident reportedly occurred after a verbal altercation. Hollensworth will be sentenced on June 11.

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A man pleaded guilty to attempted murder on Thursday related to a December shooting at a campground north of Pueblo.
According to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), Steven Hollingsworth, 54, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted murder after a 30-year-old man was shot at the KOA Campground on Dec. 29. The day of the incident, officials told 11 News the victim suffered multiple gunshots and was flown to a Colorado Springs hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
PCSO said the incident occurred after a “verbal altercation.” Officials said Hollingsworth has been in the Pueblo County jail since his arrest.
Hollingsworth will be sentenced on June 11.
